Skincare routine

All the Mario Badescu products come from an Acne control kit

Let me give you a little history about my skin, I began to get bad skin when I was a teenager, and ever since then I have been fighting the battle to get rid of all the blemishes, I ultimately want to feel good with no makeup. I have a combination skin, my nose forehead and chin seem to be the ones that break out the most, the sun always helps my skin and that is why I love to be on holiday my skin appears so much better, and feel so much better.

The acne facial cleanser contains salicylic acid which helps to dry out erupted areas and helps reduce the production of sebum,  it isn't my favourite though I think I may go back to using Clinique.

The cucumber lotion is really soothing and I feel like it actually helps my skin appear less red and inflamed, it has helped reduce a lot of the redness on my chin.

The drying mask and cream are great to help erupted areas of the skin like I mentioned I have some problem areas and this helps to keep them at bay, overall improving my complexion.

The drying lotion is to be used and red cystic type acne which becomes easily inflamed it can help to visually improve the appearance of the area, best used over night, so it helps to deal with your skin whilst you're resting, but sometimes I like to wear it whilst I'm doing housework or essays, got to utilise my time to its full potential.

Bioderma is great for sensitive skin, it removes makeup really gently and is great for mascara, my eye area is extremely sensitive, and makeup wipes just left me looking like I had been crying for days, not one of my best looks. It takes it off with ease and leaves your skin feeling smooth and nourished.

This moisturiser is my new best friend- benefits total moisturiser really helps my dry skin particularly on my nose and it make the application of my makeup look so much better, it makes everything look smoother and much more hydrated, which is a miracle for me who is often plagued by dry skin throughout the year, winter being the worst for me.

The Clarisonic I don't use everyday but it helps to deal with my dry skin on my nose and my forehead, I use it with the acne control cleanser or sometimes with an exfoliator depending on how my skin is behaving. I got mine from selfridges a long time ago but you can but it from their site here
